It's
all about the work bench
If
your work bench is not what you need, you will get nothing done.
A great work
bench will help with your home improvements. But look at your
capabilities. If you do not know the difference between a phillips
and a flat head screwdriver. Then you probably do not have a plethora
of tools to contend with. If you are like me and your pride gets
in the way of letting (much less paying) someone else to help
with your projects. Then you probably have quite a few tools in
your garage. And having a place to organize and place your tools
is mandatory.
There are
many options for organization. You can build yourself a bench,
or there are many options of pre made benches that will suit your
needs perfectly.
Some things
that a great bench needs. It needs to be stable and have a large
clutter free work space. That you can mount a vice to if necessary.
A place to hang tools so they are readily accessable. Many drawers
to house the stuff, like tools that cannot be mounted or screws
and nails. Underneath the drawers a shelve to place the larger
hand tools (circular saw, miter saw, drills, shop vac.)
Oh yeah, and
keep it organized.

I have so many tools to keep my car in the garage. I have one
word. ORGANIZE!
