Insulation Megger Resistance Test

The Megger test indicates the condition of ground insulation. However, it does not measure the turn-to-turn state of the insulation, and may not register localized weaknesses. Insulation Megger resistance tester is used to measure the insulation resistance of all types of electrical equipment. Megger resistance tester performs automatic tests, enabling consistent operation without operator input and the instrument can also store the results and can be operated from PC.

Megger Extended Range Insulation Resistance testers- 2101070 and 210600

When high ranges are needed for measuring insulation resistance megger extended range resistance testers are used. The extended resistance testers come in series of 210170 and 210600. These two testers provide excellent test voltage regulation and an external guard terminal to eliminate surface leakage current from the measurement. The features of these resistance testers are that they are electronic and generate a regulated direct current high voltage and use low-zero drift. The measurements of these testers are of highly accurate due to the high-accuracy circuits with high current sensitivity. These instruments are portable and come in a molded, impact resistance, flame -retardant case.

Megger MIT300 Series-Insulation Testers for Electricians - latest

Electricians use this new series of insulation testers from megger as they guarantee high accuracy combined with stability of calibration. In this new series all the insulation test instruments provide indication of insulation resistance up to 999Mohms, 200mA continuity buzzer and facilities for nullifying the resistance of the test leads. The entry-level range offers insulation test voltages of 250V and 500V and the higher range models allow testing at 250V, 500V and 1,000V. In addition to the basic features, the Megger MIT300 series adds a default voltmeter function with a backlit display, illuminated range panel, insulation limit alarm, resistance measurement, and an adjustable threshold for the continuity buzzer. The model MIT330 of the latest Megger series of insulation testers come with a downloadable software and has the ability to store and download test data for up to 99 jobs. The MIT310, and MIT320 testers incorporate dual solid-state displays which simultaneously show the test results numerically and also in the form of a moving-arc bar graph. The main features of the instrument of this series are that they are easy to use and come with a warranty period of three years. These instruments have a backlit LCD display, voltmeter function and storage and download capacity is available in the higher series. All the equipments come in tough rubber armored case that is weather proof.

Cellulose insulation
Cellulose insulation is an energy saving insulation product made from recycled newspapers. Cellulose-a material used as wobbly fill insulation is made from recycled wood fiber, primarily newsprint. The wood fiber is ragged and crushed into small,...

Reflective Insulation
Reflective insulation is one kind of home insulation techniques. The use of foil in insulation has gained importance because of versatile features such as being light-weight and resisting all three types of heat transfer; conduction, convection and...

Soundproof Insulation
Soundproof a home is more effective if the installation is taken up at the construction stage itself. This will also make it less expensive. Total soundproofing may not entirely be possible in an existing building. However, there are many soundproof...
