Fall
leaves make good FREE mulch
There is an easy way to make
a great product from the leaves that fall in the autumn months.
I do not know about you, but every
fall when I am blowing leaves. I always think there are a lot
of leaves, what am, or can, I do will all these leaves.
A very viable solution is to grid them
up and use them as mulch for your flower beds. It is simple to
do and can save you a little money. I do not know about you, but
money comes hard but sweat equity comes relatively cheap. The
older I get the more expensive the sweat gets.
It is extremely simple. All you need
is a blower that also has a vacuum. Be careful because they all
do not. You can pick up a relatively cheap one at your local home
improvements store. The electric ones are very cheap, but the
gas ones can get pretty expensive. Put it this way, if you get
one of the electric ones, it will pay for itself after just one
mulching. Not bad!
If there is just a small amount of
leaves on the ground, do not worry about sucking them up that
is more work that its worth. Just mow as normal and the lawnmower
will grind them up very fine and blow them in to the grass. Then
you have a natural fertilizer.
All this for you lawn and you only
bought a leaf blower, or sucker how ever you want to look at it.
