The Nelson Sprinkler Company all started back in 1904 when a man named Lewen R. Nelson created and patented a coupling device for garden hoses. Since the company sold well so in 1911 he formed his own company, however the business remained in the Nelson family until the 1970s. The present owner Dave Ransburg bought the company in 1972 and put the focus on research and development and presently it is a line of more than 1,000 products for lawn, garden, landscape, and turf which includes many of the industries most innovative and high-tech designs.
