Juno
Lighting - Lighting History
In
1976 the founder of Juno lighting envisioned the production of
lighting fixtures that were both stylish and economical. They
had to be flexible, adaptable and contemporary. This vision created
Juno lighting. At first juno lighting was aimed at a simple target
market. High quality, competitively priced track fixtures for
the home. It then grew as a business and expanded into recessed
lighting for both residential and commercial use. Today, Juno
lighting is one of the largest independent designer and manufacturer
of track and recessed lighting.
Juno
lighting combined its strengths with other companies merging into
the Juno lighting group. A recent acquisition was on 15-Oct-2002
when the Group acquired Alfa Lighting Inc. It now markets under
8 brand names. The Group's principal activities are to design,
assemble and market a full line of recessed and track lighting
fixtures for use in new construction and remodeling of commercial,
institutional and residential buildings. The Group also designs,
manufactures and markets other incandescent and fluorescent lighting
products. These products are used in commercial lighting market,
primarily in department and chain stores. The Group produces a
variety of lighting fixtures and related equipment of both contemporary
and traditional design, most of which are available in a variety
of styles, sizes and finishes.
Juno
Lighting offers residential & commercial recessed lighting
products in a wide variety of directional light fixtures. Juno
also provides architectural lighting products for commercial environments
with appropriate illumination for specific lighting applications.
Their products include commercial incandescent, compact fluorescent,
linear fluorescent, high intensity discharge (HID) and more.

fiber optic lighting products, and emergency and exit lighting
signs based on LED technology. Juno's other products include recessed
lighting and track-lighting systems. The company also sells undercabinet
and casework lighting products under the Juno and Danalite brands.
Juno counts contractors and remodelers as its chief customers.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Square D.

and track lighting, Low voltage halogen lighting systems, HID
and specialty flouroscent lighting system, Exit and emergency

that this group is considered a leader in.
At
the end of the 2004 fiscal year, the group had a revenue of 242

As
its name suggests, Juno was the wife of Jupiter, the Juno lighting
