Where
is the Interior Design College?
I
met a beautiful young woman yesterday that could not stop asking
around town for the interior design college. I did not even know
there was one in the area, but she was very specific in describing
it. "The students are all creative geniuses, or at the very
least they want to be. I want to go there so I can design beautiful
parties and makes tons of money." She seemed so happily lost,
and I wanted to help as any good gentleman would.
"Can
interior designers really make that much money?" I asked
her. My mom had hired someone to design the three bedrooms left
from where my brothers and I had moved out. I recalled that the
designer did not seem overly wealthy, but come to think of it,
I do not really recall spending that much time talking to her
when I visited my parents. Paying attention wouldn't have been
difficult if this young woman had worked for them.
"If they
really pay attention in school," she said. "Then they
can build a strong portfolio that will help them get clients willing
to pay some serious money for their services." She bounced
on her toes and skipped around the sidewalk as she spoke of her
chosen career. I discovered that she had not actually met a real
interior designer, but she showed me a notebook filled with sketches
that appealed to me, even as I knew nothing about them.
"Well
I suppose we should help you find that interior design college."
I helped those in need when I could, and I expected that someone
around my neighborhood might have heard of something as interestingly
odd as a college completely centered on designing. "Let's
go down the street and see if somebody might know where your school
is located." That said, we walked through the interior of
a tunnel down the street toward some shops.
As we turned
a corner and approached the shops, I heard a loud exclamation.
"Oh there it is!" she yelled in my ear. "You helped
me find it!" She kissed my right cheek, and then she galloped
past me so fast I almost tripped into the street's traffic. I
was not even sure which way she ran to get to her design college,
but I hoped she might find herself lost again sometime and head
down my street so I can walk with her again.

to go.
Think
about your Rear, Dear!
Furniture can look great, but if you do not like sitting on it,
I have one question. WHY?
Pillows
can add color and comfort.
Instead of spending money on furniture, try a new color and/or
pattern for a new look.
Don't
fill the whole space.
Too much furniture in a room can do the opposite of what you want.
It keeps people out.
