Manufacturing:
is concentrated onto two sites, at Swillington near Leeds and
Doncaster. In addition, a National Distribution Center is situated
close to the main manufacturing site in Doncaster. Major investment
has also been made in customer support services on all sites and
in tooling, manufacturing machinery and logistics. With this infrastructure,
Cooper Lighting and Security is well placed to further strengthen
its position as clear market leaders in lighting, emergency lighting
and fire detection systems.

Compton Lighting is one of the largest lighting manufacturers
in the UK. Products are manufactured in factories at Guiseley,
near Leeds and at Doncaster. From these manufacturing plants,
products are exported worldwide.

Menvier was founded in 1975 and has followed a path of consistent
growth to become one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of
emergency lighting and fire detection systems. Products are manufactured
at Doncaster and Swillington, near Leeds, where Central Battery
and Fire Detection Systems are designed and built to customer
specification.

JSB
JSB was founded in 1962, as J.Smith Ltd.The Company changed its
name to JSB Electrical in 1980 and became a public limited company
in 1986. The business has grown into a major international supplier
of emergency lighting and fire detection systems.
