Eat,
Drink, and be Merry.
The
kitchen is probably the place where you will spend most of your
time. Make it worth it!
A
kitchen is where you eat and interact with your family. They congregate
they interact (both good and bad). Some homework, some science
projects, boyfriend/girlfriend problems...Whatever! Make sure
that the space is usable. Now, I am not saying to go overboard
and break the bank. Just have it very usable, and functional.
It is usually the first place that you go into when you come home.
Things
to consider, lighting. We were blessed with the house that we
purchased. There is two sets of lighting. One is a fan in the
middle with a light that is controlled by one swich. Two, there
is recessed lighting that is very bright, but contolled by a dimmer
switch. Very cool! The lighting sets a great mood that can be
controlled for both family and party guests.
There
are so many factors that you need in a kitchen, that suits your
family. Consider how the kitchen will be best used.
