Mold Training


Many work areas may impose situations that may potentially expose workers to mold. People need to be aware of such situations and have adequate knowledge to identify activities that may result in increased potential for workers and building occupants to be exposed to excessive levels of mold. The training courses cover general overview of a variety of mold related issues such as mold biology and the requirements for mold growth, conditions that will lead to mold growth indoors, health effects of elevated mold exposure, mold inspections, testing, and analysis, mold abatement, mold management, common misconceptions about mold growth.

A trained mold professional will be able to evaluate the potential for mold growth during a building inspection, recognize the signs of a potential mold problem in a building, educate one on the common causes of water intrusion into buildings and areas of hidden mold growth.
