Shower drainage:

Shower drainage is a kit which is designed to be used in bathrooms to solve the problem of removing dirty water from level access showers. Previous pump solutions rely on the user cleaning a filter regularly or having to perform the maintenance. It prohibits connection of rain water drainage to the building drainage system. It applies to outdoor showers at swimming pool. These would be located at or adjacent to the pool decking. These may be allowed to run off into landscaped areas or similar areas where they will not create a nuisance. They cannot drain into streams, water ways or the pool.

Technical details of shower drainage:
1. Showers with hot and cold water or cold water showers with a drain: These will require a shower drain connected to the building drainage (sanitary) system. The shower must be provided with a roof and must be located in a manner that will exclude rain, run off from decks, roofs or other areas from entering into the shower drain.

2. Unenclosed cold water showers with no shower drain provided: Typically, these would be located at or adjacent to the pool decking.

3. How to remove dirt water from shower drainage: Also the drainage system to remove the waste water will need to be planned. Both
positions of the cable route and the shower switch will also need to be considered if an instantaneous or electric shower. Showers often have a pump over the drainage hole to draw the waste water towards it was designed to determine the feasibility of a drain distance from the hot water tank to the shower drainage pipes. Without proper drainage and the ability for the soil to expel excess water, the roots will be harmed.
