Communication has got a wide range of meaning. Communication is nothing but the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information through a media like, by speech, signals, writing and behavior. It is an interpersonal rapport. In other words, the art and technique of using words effectively to impart information or ideas. There are mainly two types of communications one being the verbal and the other is nonverbal communication. Verbal communication is through talking. Non-verbal communication is through signals and gestures. There are various means of communication such as print or broadcasting, mobile, mail, telephone, and television. Communication depends on the type of the office. Communication is the means of getting information to the office.

The main objective of a home office is to save time and money. A person running the home office should have good communication skills. A home office requires a good communication means. Communication reduces the risk and tension. Communication helps to get more customers to the office. By means of communication it is easier to communicate with the customers. Communication is used to understand the need of the customer. Communication increases the confidence level of the person. Effective communication means lead to the progress of the office. Means of communication improves the speed of the work and the work is done fast. The means of communication saves time and strain and stress of a person.
