Garden hoes
Types of hoe and their uses Nursery hoe are essentially a heavy-duty version of the garden hoe, it is made of forged steel, yet is fairly lightweight. It is more expensive than the garden hoe, but is great for working under low growth or close to plants. It can also withstand a fair amount of abuse. Another form of garden hue is Cavex hoe. This is an old design with a perfectly curved blade and keen edge that's ideal for cutting weeds and roots. It is little harder to find this in the market but is definitely worth having it for garden. The Dutch scuffle garden hoe is an unusual design that is good as an edger or a pry bar. The triangular design is excellent for making furrows as well as for close weeding and cultivating in the garden hoe. The Pointed push garden hoe is another type of hoe. This one takes some getting used to, but it is great if the soil is nice light and fluffy. It works on both the forward and backward stroke. Action garden hoe is another type of garden tool. Regardless of soil type, this is a very useful tool. Working on both push and pull strokes, it functions as a double-action weeder. In the weeding process it loosens up the soil, which makes it excellent for cultivation.
