Clamps - Clinging Clamps
Clamp Importance Clamps are extremely useful for carpentry work. Clamps are essential for pulling wooden boards together. Clamps are used to hold wooden planks in a steady position or to fix the board in one position tightly. Hence, clamps are used by carpenters in many different tasks. There are several types of clamps that are used for many different purposes. All the clamps ensure that the wooden surface is not harmed and the planks remain in prime condition. The clamps make sure that the wood is held together without creating any scratches or abrasions on the smooth wooden surface. The different types of clamps include mini spring clamps, bar clamps, drill press clamps, toggle clamps, pipe clamps, nylon clamps and many other such types. The nylon clamps are widely used as they provide the perfect grip and extremely durable spring-action jaws. A large number of carpentry tasks are accomplished with the help of the nylon clamps. Another type of clamp used greatly is the corner or angle clamp. The corner clamp is used to hold the wood or other items in a perfect right angle. The specialty of the corner or angle clamps is that they adjust to all kinds of wood specifications. Hence, the wood may be of any type or measurement or thickness and quality, the clamp would hold on with equal grip and strength. These clamps have extremely long-lasting jaws. More importantly the jaws are plastic coated and are hence do not do any harm to the wooden surfaces. Clamps hold on the wooden planks together. A handyman cannot work without clamps if he has to accomplish the carpentry tasks with great speed and finesse.
