Using clay sets in the backyard
Making clay items with the help of clay sets Clay sets are very easy to use. And items can be done better than those from wheel or without anything. Pot making is one of the easiest and least required accessory activities. It is even all right if do not fit wheel in your backyard. Initially ample amount of clay is required to be soaked properly in the water over a night. This clay is then kneaded properly so that it forms spongy balls. These balls are then flattened on the floor. They are then pilled on one over the other in one corner with proper lid on them so that they do not dry up. This will also enable it to retain the water, which makes it easy to draw the desired shapes. After few hours these ball loose some amount of water so that they are thick than before. Then the sets, casts or molds made out of tin, steel, plastic rubber, aluminum are used o have desired form. The flattened clay, which you had pilled up, should roll back to ball. Take the set open it towards you. Put the clay ball in the set. Closed the set tightly or you can simply press it. Keep it in one position unless it is dried up. When you think that the outer coating of the clay inside the set is dried up, open it. You would notice beautiful shape of an article. Now keep the article in the sun for drying. Till will at least take two days for the clay to dry. After the article is dried color it with beautiful attractive colors.
